Really, I need to look at these ahead of time so that I can remember what it is that I like and don't like. Although Thursday night was pretty much a win all around so I can't complain too much :)
It ended up being Tom, Claire, Katie and me. I, of course, got blamed for not letting Tom tell the waitress we were in a hurry *grins*
Tom and the girls got Zil Zil Tibs as their main meals. The girls split an order and Tom's ended up on the same tray as mine. Which was a sampler platter.
I had the Chicken Special that involved peanut butter. I was pretty good and tasty. Butecha (the chick pea dish that looks like scrambled eggs). Ye' Abesha Gomen -- the kale, gralic and spices. Wasn't dry this time around and I made Tom pick the 4th dish. He initially landed on ZilZil Tibs and I said, "no, not that. Something else" (He closed his eyes and pointed). I'm pretty sure that I ended up with Alitcha Wat. That was really tasty this time around.
We ordered both Chicken and Beef Sambusa. Both are good. I prefer the chicken though. Spicier and less greasy.
The GInger Sherbet was good as usual. I'm not sure if I regret not getting the chocolate torte or not.
