Date: 2008-05-05 04:04 am (UTC)This CSA sounds very tasty. There are lots of things in your CSA that I would want in my cupboard. However, it isn't practical. I want basic veggies, like tomatoes, green beans, mushrooms, corn, potatoes, bell peppers, spinach, zucchini, etc. With just these items, I can do a variety of good meals until the next crate arrives. I can't make a few meals with apple cider or just spinach. With your CSA, I'd still have to go out to the Strip or GE and buy additional "base" veggies.
Then again, it's early--maybe your variety will increase as the year moves on. And this is not to say that we don't base our meals for the week on what arrived in the crate that week, because absolutely we do that.
